Join us this Saturday for the FREE RunTheBoro Run #6 "The City of Murals" run. The run will start at Bill Black Chevrolet (park at 519 E Bessemer Ave ). There will be a 5ish and a 9-10ish mile route touring the downtown area taking in many of the city's beautiful outdoor murals. Pace groups from walkers to 8:00-min/mile pace and everything in between are privided. Arrive by 6:45am. The run starts at 7:00am. Water is provided on the routes, but it's highly recommended that you bring along a handheld water bottle or wear a hydration belt.

Now that was a workout! Man, I haven't sweated that much in a long time. Instead of hot yoga, it was "hot tabata." My Volvo tabata class did great today with a longer workout I sprung on them.

We have permission to also park at the Jimmy John's parking lot and at the parking lot at Fidelity Bank (but do not block the drive-thru ATM lanes), and we also can park at Queen's Pizza behind Omega Sports. Just left the delivery room (Wal-Mart)...two more "children" added to the family. 😀

This was supposed to be a tempo run, but I got stuck in traffic and my dedicated group started without me, so my run ended up being a haul-butt-and-catch-up-run. Awesome group.

Awesone run tonight ran first two miles easy with Bobby and Joan at a 9:32 average pace then dropped it to a 7:39 pace for the last 3 mile. Humid and sweated like a pig, but felt great to bust loose. Think the combination of the summer haircut and the new Cliftons are the secret ingredients. :-)

I truly believe that Dr. Seuss was a runner at heart.
