What is a city Walk Score? West Palm Beach has a high score, specifically downtown!

While the city revs up to increase it’s “walkability,” there are many great projects looming on the horizon. We have added some new and exciting tenants to both the Harvey Building and the Comeau Building, such as marketing agency Pathos. Once the full scope of the Clematis Street renovation projects is achieved, Clematis Street and downtown is sure to live up to it’s “walker’s paradise” title! So, what is a “Walk Score”?

Walk Score measures the walkability of any address, Transit Score measures access to public transit, and Bike Score measures whether a location is good for biking.

National Best Friend’s Day! Harvey Building Tenants Photoshoot

Today is National Best Friend’s Day, and tenants at the Harvey Building had an impromptu photoshoot using the beautiful historic details this gorgeous building has to offer!

Several tenants and even visitors have used the building’s exceptional details for their photoshoots, this adorable shoot just happened to fall on National Best Friend’s Day!

Marketing firm 3BlueMedia, a Harvey Building Tenant, created Daamn! App. It is  a styling app whose mission is to empower confidence.

“The concept is simple- sign up, log in, take a photo of your outfit or yourself and ask a stylist whatever question you may have related to your attire and accessories. In minutes (often less than one minute), you receive a response from a vetted stylist or fashion blogger who really knows their stuff. End result: You get an impartial opinion, you feel more confident in your choices (whether or not you follow the advice is totally up to you) and all you had to do was take a photo of yourself or your clothes.
In an ever-changing world where there are so many sources of stress, your outfit shouldn’t be one! Download the Daamn! App on Itunes or check out their site for how-to instructions!”

Green Market in Downtown West Palm Beach in National News!

The West Palm Beach Green Market has achieved national recognition once again!

Excerpt from Boston Globe article by correspondent Lisa B. Zwirn:

“The weekly market, located on a large patio between the eastern end of Clematis Street and Flagler Drive on the Intracoastal Waterway, boasts 90 vendors. At most of them, you can walk away with something delicious to eat right then and there. If you begin at the top of the market, you’ll notice — and smell — cider doughnuts. The New England-style chubby little rings are fried, tossed in cinnamon sugar, and scooped into white paper cones for easy eating while strolling. Chef John Carlino from Connecticut conceived of the idea over 10 years ago and staffs the stand with some of his former culinary students…”

The article goes on to highlight many of the vendors and their mouth-watering delicacies. For the complete article, please follow this link:

33rd Annual Palm Beach International Boat Show Set for March 22-25

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (January 12, 2018) – The 33rd annual Palm Beach International Boat Show is set to take place from Thursday, March 22, through Sunday, March 25, along Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach, directly across the Intracoastal Waterway from Palm Beach Island.

An annual mainstay of the global yachting community, held during an ideal time of year weather-wise and adjacent to one of the most affluent zip codes in the world, the Palm Beach International Boat Show is known to attract high-level boat buyers, charter clients, sport fishing enthusiasts and blue water anglers. Many of the world’s most renowned shipyards prize the show as a platform for conducting business with the global elite.

“The Palm Beach International Boat Show holds a special place on many boating and yachting enthusiasts’ calendars,” said Mary Bender, vice president of marketing for Informa, the show’s producer. “It’s the last major international yacht show of the yearly boat show season and therefore, is well attended by serious shoppers as well as many key industry executives. It’s a great show to do business and make a deal.”

New this year, show guests are invited to further enhance their visit with the Palm Beach International Boat Show VIP Experience. Located at the center of the show, the private club will provide guests with fine food and refreshments in an artfully-designed, air-conditioned space with comfortable seating.

One of the most attractive benefits of the VIP Experience is a dedicated concierge team, Delmay and Partners, who work on behalf of VIP pass holders to arrange yacht tours, local dining reservations, private transportation and other personalized services.

In addition to the large selection of boats and exhibits, the show offers fun and educational activities for the whole family, including free youth fishing clinics by non-profit Hook the Future, IGFA School of Sportfishing seminars, long-range cruising clinics and on-the-water boat handling classes. Attendees also can enjoy live music and refreshments at the show’s famous floating cocktail lounges. Guests are invited to come by boat and may tie up to free docks located south of the in-water boat displays.

General admission tickets cost $24 for adults and $14 for children six through 15 years old. Children under six are free. The show runs from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 23, and Saturday, March 24, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 25.

The 2018 Palm Beach International Boat Show is owned and presented by the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County, Inc. (MIAPBC) and managed and produced by Informa. For more information, visit http://www.pbboatshow.com
